1. Go outside for a few minutes
Get some fresh air, smell the flowers, feel the wind and the sun on your skin, make snow angels, enjoy the moon, the stars, the sunset and the sunrise.
2. Meditate
Meditation has been shown to have a big positive impact on our minds and bodies. Give it a go, as once you’ve learnt it, you’ll truly have a skill for a happier life!
3. Read something inspiring
I have a host of things I love to read, true stories are always inspiring or for something a bit of fun try Leonie Dawson. Maybe you love comics or funny memes!
4. Change what you are doing
Change doesn’t have to be big, change you hair, change your jewellery or simply change the place you are sitting. Re-arange the space you are working in, small changes can create the rights shifts to make you fell better.
5. Get some exercise
Do some yoga, go for a walk, I love to get out and ride one of my horses. Just get going and get moving!
6. Listen to something you love
I love such a variety of music, different styles remind me of different times in my life. Jimmy Buffet reminds me of travel in the Caribbean and Songbird by Eva Cassidy is just beautiful. Katey Perry gets me moving, listen to what ever takes your fancy.
7. Hug something or someone
Hug your dog, your husband, your mum, your child or even a tree, your guareented to fell instantly happier.
8. Do something silly
I love to squeal with my little boy, never fails to make me smile or we tickle each other to exhaustion. Watch something silly on youtube or your favourite comedy, pull a funny face. Declare the day a silly clothes day…..
9. Take a bath
There is nothing more soothing then being surround by bubbles in a warm bath and the sent of lavender oil.
Suds up and get out of that grump.
10. Eat something healthy
I don’t know what it is, but there is definately something different in my mood when I eat something healthy. I find nothing more soothing then to go out into the garden and focisk around for some strawberrries, a handful of snowpeas or to prepare a super healthy smoothie.
Give it a try….you might be surprised.

A banana frozen or fresh, a can of coconut cream, a cup or two of any type of berry you like, frozen or fresh, a couple of dates and about a tablespoon of chia seeds.
Blend. Sip. Enjoy!
11. Be grateful
No doubt you have heard it before!
Take a few minutes to scribble on to paper a few things that you are grateful for. This is sure to turn a bad mood upside down in a heartbeat. The more you are thankful for, the more the universe will give you to be thankful for.
13. Shake your booty
A little crazy, but turn up the music and shake that booty, it will actually help to clear the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline from your bloodstream.
