Carrot based facial masks are ideal for normal to oily skin and if you include honey, the mask is appropriate for dry skin but may be used on oily skin.
Carrots are a natural antiseptic and when included in a homemade facial mask recipe, they help tone and rejuvenate your skin as they are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium and folacin. One of the other advantages of making your own homemade facial mask is that you can easily blend in other ingredients to tailor the mask to your own beauty needs. For example avocado will also have moisturising properties and olive oil can help all the ingredients blend together smoothly.
We also have beehive, so there is never a shortage of beautiful raw honey in our home. Raw honey has so many amazing benefits, it is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. It can also help to slow ageing as it is full of antioxidants. Honey can give your entire complexion a boost, as It is extremely moisturising and soothing and helps create a natural glow. Additionally honey is clarifying, which means it helps t opens up pores making them easy to unclog and keep clean.
